December 9th
- Christmas is here!

Kris Kringle Club Christmas Meeting & Last Club Meeting for 2009!

Kris Kringle is a tradition where people exchange Christmas present.  Come with a present to the value of $10-$15 but instead to be exchanged, it will be given to Stepping Stone House.
Stepping Stone House cares for young people who are homeless, through no fault of their own and who want to be helped. These are no ordinary kids. They have lived through hell – drunken mothers, predatory fathers, violence, terror, cruelty and crime. In crisis, they end up on the street or in refuges, and then at Stepping Stone. The aim is to empower them through nurturing and challenging experiences.

Please tag the present if is for a boy or girl and the age. Please get a present ranging in ages from 15 to 22.
Let’s all come together to celebrate this festive event!!!

Make sure you come along. You are an important part of our team.

What is Polio Plus?

After 20 years of hard work, Rotary and its partners are on the brink of eradicating this tenacious disease, but a strong push is needed now to root it out once and for all. It is a window of opportunity of historic proportions.

As long as polio threatens even one child anywhere in the world, children everywhere remain at risk. The stakes are that high.

What is Watoto?

Watoto is a non profit organisation that cares for orphan children in Uganda, Africa. Building villages and raising future leaders. Watoto is all about changing lives. Watoto aims to rescue children from hopelessness and raise them up to be leaders for a broken and war-weary nation in Uganda, Africa.
